WWE Champions is the latest mobile game, which has grabbed the attention of all wrestling fans. It has been designed by WWE, along with Scopely. However, it is not a typical WWE game, where you just go and punch your opponents. It is an interest mix of the puzzle genre and the wresting genre.
How to Play: Before you start playing this game, you will first have to select a superstar. There are more than 100 superstars to choose from, including some big names like John Cena and The Rock. On the top of the screen, the superstars will fight it out. However, your focus should be on the bottom of the screen, where you have to match jewels of the same color. Unlike most wresting games, this one is a turn based game. Once you make a match of similar colors, you will be allowed to make a move. For a match of 3 similar colors, you will be allowed a normal move. For a match of 4 similar colors, you will be allowed to perform some special moves. And if you are able to make a match of 5 similar moves, then you will get an extra turn. Both you and your opponent will have a strength bar. Your objective is to reduce his strength bar to zero. Once you do that, you will be able to pin him down easily.
Cost: The game is completely free to play. It is available both in the Android and the iOS platform. There is also the option of in-app purchases, to make your superstar more powerful. However, even if you don’t spend, you can still make quick progress.
Graphics: Graphics is one of the main strengths of the game. You can’t compare it with the console versions, but for a mobile game, it is pretty impressive. The background music is also pretty good. WWE have added the theme songs of Raw and Smackdown. The interface is also very smooth.
Game Modes: WWE has introduced several game modes to make the game more interesting. In the initial stages, you can play ‘ The Road’, where you will have to start from the beginning and then fight your way to the top. There are also several daily challenges and a multiplayer option as well.
Conclusion: Overall, with great graphics and an exciting game play, this is a very fun game to play. The free price tag also makes it more appealing.

Most of the reviews that I have found say things like in the following list:
- Great graphics
- Fun puzzle game
- Easy to play
- A good time killer
In fact, most of the ratings I have found on this give the game an overwhelming 5 stars for it. What will you give when you try it? Will you try it?
One certain reviewer says that the problem he faces with it is there are a lot of options, menus, and screens to get through before you can get to the first match. This for him seemed to be frustrating. But from the reviews, I have read the path to the game can be worth the time in the end.
